A dream I had on Sunday, June 7th, 2009

I walk across
rocky cliffs that are gray and perhaps slate-like. For clothing I have only two cloths to cover myself. One of them is the size of a washcloth that I use as underwear. It works well when it is tightly wound but it occasionally comes undone requiring me to adjust the cloth.

There are also meditating men seated in front of the rocks that are covered in variously colored sheets, yellow, orange, and beige. The cliffs slant downwards at an angle but are manageable.

After descending the cliffs I soon find myself crawling across a metal counter that extends for perhaps hundreds of feet on a building meant for retail business. The cliffs are now replaced with a cityscape featuring a concrete road. Crawling across the counter, I stop in front of the window of an unidentified business. The window is similar to a movie theater window with an open cut around the counter. In a friendly way an Asian woman asks me to step into the office. I walk through the door and find the floor slanting downwards with the floor covered in a gray carpet. I adjust my balance because it is somewhat steep. There seems to be another woman there but I never see her.

I suggest to the Asian woman that it will be easier if she turns her back to the window while looking through a mirror in one hand to interact with the customers. She can reach back to hand things to them. This way you don't get tired of always bending your feet upwards. She seems to appreciate my suggestion and turns around making gestures towards the window.

Outside there are red, double-decker buses passing by. They feature advertisements and one of them has a target on it with Asian lettering. Of course I don't know what they say. What is also notable is that the tall buses are only four feet in width, presumably to make it easier to navigate a narrow road.

Despite the foreign landscape I feel welcomed somehow.
