A dream I had on Saturday, June 6th, 2009

I escaped three tornadoes. The first tornado featured a large black cloud. I was watching it closely and reporting it to someone unknown. Looming, dark, and swirling, the funnel reached out but never really touched the ground. It was as if I was watching it from a long distance and I did not feel immediate danger. The cloud itself was billowy and as dark as could be.

The second tornado was moving through a neighborhood of houses. It moved at a slow pace past a light blue duplex and was only slightly taller than this house. The funnel, three feet in diameter, moved from right to left. I felt myself running away but kept looking back. It seemed like I was running two blocks but I was still 100 feet away watching it saunter across the lawn.

The third tornado was the same size as the second but something changed when I looked closer. It was actually a young, light brown haired woman in a diaphanous, gauzy costume. She walked across the green lawn of a similar house, wearing a light-colored costume somehow towering as high as the duplex. She was wrapped in the funnel cloud with the top of the costume like the mushroom of a gray cloud.
